Show me the money!

Here's an oddly interesting site. Campaign endorsements by Hollywood stars and the like are sometimes highly publicised events. But not all celebrities make a big deal out of whom they support on the political front. NewsMeat, using Federal Election Commission data, now allows us to see which campaigns, everyone has donated to.

Stephen King - $10000 to the DNC. And Neko might be happy to hear that Ben Affleck gave $1000 to Kucinich For President. Pierce Brosnan and Lucy Liu both dropped $2000 to John Kerry For President. Aaron Sorkin certainly is generous: $25000 just this year to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

The list goes on. But I do want to qualify that this wasn’t a deliberate Democrat-roll call. Bush supporters just turned up less often during my random clicking.
